Health A Sista Out (HASO) is a non-profit organization in which we promote mental and social wellness in Women of Color via education and empowerment programs. HASO is a faith-based organization founded on eight pillars of holistic health and wellness: Physical, mental, spiritual, financial, occupational, environmental, intellectual, and social. While we are primarily focused on Women of Color, we do not disallow women across other races, ethnicities, or socio-economic backgrounds from participating in our sistahood, so long as they support our values, mission, and vision. A Distinct Identity
Health A Sista Out was established in June 2020 during the COVID 19 pandemic. HASO received non-profit incorporation in January 2021. We set out to empower Women of Color to live their best lives through education on holistic health and wellness. Using the concept of The Pay it Forward Movement, the "Bless A Sista Out" program was created. Bless A Sista Out is honored to have blindly blessed deserving women of faith with close to $5000 collectively, within the first six months of existence. Our online sistahood of 1400+ women, now extends these blessings into the community in the form of scholarships, educational programs, and social events. Knowing racial equality is at the forefront of social and mental wellness, we are proud to have women across races, ethnicities, and countries who share our values as part of our sistahood.

Hey Girl Hey, Please alert every High School Senior Black Girl that rocks and their parents about this amazing opportunity and share, share, share across your social media platforms. It's HASO scholarship time. Once again we're excited to award one student entering a post-secondary institution with a $2000 scholarship. Because our neighboring counties have been so supportive of our mission over the past year, we are pleased to extend the catchment area to include Baldwin, Mobile, and Escambia Counties in 2024. Finalists and their parents will be invited to join our board of directors at our first ever Scholarship Panel Discussion and Rising Sis Tea. At this event, we will select our scholarship recipient and present awards accordingly. We are truly excited. Every event you attend, helps make this possible. Thank You!!!

Health A Sista Out is in the business of changing and shaping lives. Social anxiety is a challenge faced by Women of Color. The work we do at our Non-Profit Organization is aimed at promoting healthy social engagement as a tenet of holistic wellness. We believe Women of Color should feel comfortable and supported in each other's presence. We strive to enjoy ourselves without constantly looking for exit signs.

Thanks to the donations of local boutique owners our Tea ends up Turnt. This interactive event closer not only showcases fashions with models built to Rip The Runway, but we also highlight our guests' fashions. We take every opportunity to "Big Our Sistas Up"!
